And Tips On Bunnies
Bunnies are such a fun pet, but they can be a little work as you learn what works best for them. Here are some of our favorites items, must have items, and some tips and links on bunny care and health!

Tips
In our personal opinion, bunnies do best in a non traditional type of cage such as a play pen or something similar. We use a washable puppy pad for the floor and its very easy to sweep, litter train this way, keep clean and MUCH more affordable!

Home - Grid Or Playpen. We do not recommend wire cages or hutches. Its very hard to keep these clean which is important for your bunnies health.

Bedding - Washable Puppy Pad (NEVER EVER disposable ones as those are toxic if chewed. Washable pads are also easy to clean and no mess like hay or shavings)

Gravity Water Bowl - We do not use water bottles as its harder to drink from, they leak, and it doesn't hold as much. Bunnies also have to be trained to use them so don't switch to a bottle until you have trained your bunny to use it.

Litter box - All our bunnies are started on litter training. You can find bunny litter boxes or just a basic litter box will work. For "litter" we like the horse pellets from tractor supply. NEVER use cat litter, only bunny safe items, in a litter box.

Hay - Your bunnies main diet is hay and they should always have access to good quality hay. This makes up most their diet and they need to be able to eat it anytime they want so keep it full. Use a metal hay rack as they can't chew that up like a cloth one. You can feed timothy hay, orchard hay, alfafa (not after 6 months of age) or oat. We get ours from Tractor Supply (cheapest if you get it out of the horse aisle) but you can also order from Small pet Select off amazon, Chewy, local farmers and many other options. Make sure if buying in bulk you put your hay in a tote or something to check for any mold or issues before serving.

Food Dish - We prefer ceramic as they can't throw it around.

Toys - Bunnies need lots of toys! You can make your own or find them at many stores or even online. Etsy also has a great selection. Make sure what you choose is safe for bunnies without any toxic ingredients.

Food - We send you home with a bag of food. Make sure to only feed that the first three days and then slowly transition to your food of choice. Make sure what brand you pick as no colors, additives etc it should just be boring pellets. Pick a brand you are ok using for many years to come as you should never switch food types without mixing them.

Please remember bunnies are a learning curve, require constant attention and knowledge about their health and well being. They do not do well being rehomed so please research ahead of time and make sure you can give your bunny a home for the next 10 to 12 years!!!!!!!!!!!

Supplies You Need...
Other things we use....
Apple Cider Vinegar - 1 tbsp Per gallon of water. This is great for digestion and so many other health benefits for bunnies.

Cookie Cooling Rack - We put these in the litter box ( a medium size cat litter box) on top of the horse pellets and it helps your bunny stay clean and not sit in their mess.

Nail Clippers - Bunnies need their nails trimmed. Start young so they are use to it.
