First, Learn About Bernedoodles!
I have had dogs my entire life along with being around family and friends dogs and I truly believe they are all wonderful. But, some fit a families needs, different than another does. For example, Doodles are GREAT if you have allergies as many do not shed, or shed less than regular breeds. Now, if you are looking for a farm dog, they are not good for that! They are amazing around kids, love being with their family, and very friendly. Also being intelligent helps with training, and they have better health than the breeds they come from. They are energetic, but not as hyper as some other breeds. They are of course a dog and all dogs take work, training, and being consistent with their needs and understanding each is different. This is especially true when they are puppies. Feel free to ask us any questions so we can make sure these dogs are a good fit for your family!


Second, Join Our Waitlist
We require a $100 fee to be on our waitlist. We do it this way as its a lot of work to keep track of names, make sure they are in order, plan for who is getting a pup and how many spots we have, sending updated pictures, keeping in touch with everyone etc. Some people join a wait list, but aren't serious about adopting and that throws a wrench in the plans if we have already added them to our list and are waiting for a response. This helps people take it more seriously and we found since we switched to a wait list deposit, we haven't had a single issue! Its been such a huge help as we rather spend our time taking videos to send to you instead of sending emails that people don't reply to ha. The wait list deposit is nonrefundable and non transferable but comes off your amount when you reserve a puppy, so its not anything extra. Please only join if you are SERIOUS about a puppy from the litter as keeping track of everyone, is like we said, a lot of work. This is for people who are ready to adopt now, or one of our future litters we have listed and are sure they want to adopt from us. If you are still shopping around for the perfect breeder to adopt from, then wait to fill this out til you are sure we fit your needs. When we are ready to go through our waitlist, it is in order of who joined (if we have more than one litter, each litter has its own list and your spot is for the litter you picked.  If you chose to switch litters, you spot is the next available as we can't bump others) and sent in their form and fee. Each person is given a time limit to pick their pup on selection day, and then we move on to the next person in line. We do offer live video calls to select your pup along with pictures and videos posted often to our Instagram and other social media. We do not allow visitors until puppies are 6 weeks to prevent issues with germs. Third, Reserve Your Puppy!
Make sure you have filled out our puppy adoption application and sales policy prior to reservation day. We usually allow pups to be reserved at 3-4 weeks. We will give you a day ahead of time that we will start, and on that day you have 4 hours once we reach out, to pick your puppy. After that time we go on to the next person on the list. Puppy picks are done via video calls as we do not allow in person visits until they are 6 weeks and have had their first round of shots. Puppies are very susceptible to germs so we do everything possible to keep them safe and healthy. If you wish to pass, your waitlist fee is non-refundable. (we do this simply because taking pictures, reaching out, keeping you updated, and then having you on our list is a lot of work so we have learned by requiring a fee, people take it more seriously). We post pictures and videos daily on social media so we encourage watching those to also see the puppies and how they interact as often times they choose to sleep during live video calls. 


Fourth, Start Getting Setup For Pup!
Line up a vet and have an appointment for your pup within 48 hours of bringing them home (this is required for our health policy to stay intact). Begin setting up a safe place for your pup such as a crate or play pen. We love washable puppy pads for this! Gather some safe puppy toys, stock up on the recommend food we give you, and don't forget things like a collar, harness and leash! We also highly recommend a puppy training class as they help both you and your puppy begin on the right foot! Puppies are a lot of work and can be crazy if not given time to exercise so learn, learn, learn before brining one home! They are a family member and no matter what, should NEVER be rehomed! Please do not get a dog if you can't promise it forever!!!!! Its a family member and we don't rehome family members! 

Fifth, Pick Up Puppy!!!!!
Puppies can be picked up when they turn 8 weeks of age. We will arrange pickup day usually 1-2 weeks prior as long as they are weaning and doing well. Each puppy comes with the age appropriate shots and worm medicines along with a vet check up. We do the 5 way shot at 6  and worm meds every 2 weeks starting at 3 weeks of age. Remember pups are delicate until fully vaccinated so PLEASE do not take them to dog parks, stores, etc where they could catch germs. Pups MUST be picked up on the designated pick up day or boarding fees will apply. If pups stay and requires next round of vaccines and worm meds, an additional fee will also be applied. Any health certificates or additional documents will be at the expense and responsibility of the buyer.

We do not ship (thus are not knowledgeable on airline requirements so if flying its up to the buyer to work all that out) but do work with a few approved puppy transports.

Your puppy will come home with a goody bag which includes care tips, potty training guide, food, toys and blankets with their siblings smell. Our goal is making the transition as easy as possible. We adore our pups so hope you will send us pictures and videos so we can watch them grow!
